Greenway's Amazing Young Voices at the O2

Thirty-six Greenway children from the Year 5 and 6 Choir spent a very exciting day in London celebrating their talents at the O2 Arena. 

The children learnt a wide repertoire of songs prior to the day and, after making the most of the winter sun and enjoying a picnic by the river Thames, started their final rehearsal as a choir of 8,000!  

The sold-out arena came to life as they sang and danced the night away with families watching on with pride. 

A Greenway parent commented 'The children were amazing and a real credit to the school. They were really well behaved, and they were friendly and engaging with children from other schools, waving to people, chatting to those sat nearby' and a special highlight was when 'they even initiated a Mexican wave and encouraged others to get involved. Their energy and joy was infectious.'

This was certainly an experience to be remembered.
