Year 4 Fishbourne Trip
Year 4 had a fantastic experience on their recent trip to Fishbourne, where they delved into the fascinating history of the Romans in Britain. The trip offered them a unique opportunity to explore the impressive gardens and view the largest collection of mosaics in situ in the UK. A highlight of the visit was a practical workshop that engaged the students in a variety of hands-on activities. They tried their hand at spinning wool, writing on wax tablets, mosaic-making, arch building, and even participated in role play within a Roman kitchen.
We hope that their day out will have not only have broadened the children's understanding of Roman history but will also have left them eager to learn more on this topic.
