GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Celebrating Our Chess Team's Success at the Boundless Festival Chess Tournament!

Congratulations to our chess team for their remarkable performance at the Boundless Festival chess tournament this past Wednesday. The team scored an impressive 61 out of 90, securing 5th place in the competition. Special recognition goes to Joseph and George, who were the top scorers for Greenway Junior School.

A special thank you goes out to Mrs Cannons and Mrs Benn for their invaluable support and attendance at the event. Mrs Cannons did a fantastic job driving the minibus, ensuring everyone arrived safely.

All the children represented our school exceptionally well, displaying outstanding behaviour throughout the event. As a delightful bonus, they even received free brownies!
